This two print set was created in '22 as I was slowly putting my life back together and noticing so many others were doing the same. It seemed we were all rising from the storms like a Phoenix, but not alone like the mythical bird is often depicted. The originals were painted side by side. The foreground Phoenix in each painting is facing the partner painting Phoenix and reflected in the clear water promising to water new life into the battered and destroyed landscape.
